About the event

Join us for a free two-week nutrition education series which will help serve as a

guide to discern fact from fiction regarding nutrition information. 


These classes are typically taught in three sessions, but due to limited library space, we are combining the first and second classes and extending their duration to two hours for both classes.


After completing the two-week program, you will be ready to easily include healthy foods in your daily life. You will learn how to read food labels, find unhealthy ingredients, and recognize those that are good for you. We will explain the benefits of adding more fruits and vegetables to your meals. The classes are simple to understand, and you will get handouts to use later.

Enjoy easy food demonstrations and tastings in each class.

Classes taught by Mary Ellen Grimes a Registered Dietitian. There will be time to ask her questions.
